KINNECT compliant with Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012
KINNECT are happy to disclose that we have been deemed compliant with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 for the reporting period 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019.
Each year the Australian Government Workplace Gender Equality Agency requires non-public sector employers with over 100 or more employees to submit a report detailing gender performance. This is required to promote and improve gender equality for both women and men in Australian workplaces.
The report measures gender composition of the workforce, whether there is equal remuneration between women and men and the level of female and male staff in managerial roles.
Once submitted, the Workplace Gender Equality Agency reviews the report to check for anomalies and provides a compliant or non-compliant outcome.
KINNECT CEO and Managing Director Kevin Conlon said that our compliance demonstrates our commitment to improving gender equality outcomes in Australian workplaces.
“We do not discriminate on the basis of gender in relation to employment matters at KINNECT and I am proud that this fact has been validated by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency.”
