KINNECT opens brand new clinic in Townsville

From a shared desk under the house, to a new prime location in Hyde Park, our Townsville team have officially moved into a brand-new office just in time for KINNECTs 25th birthday.

Due to increased business growth and operational demand for our Occupational Health and Workplace Rehabilitation services in North Queensland, it was time to move to a larger space.  

The move comes as preparations are underway for KINNECT’s silver anniversary, with founder and Chief Executive Kevin Conlon starting KINNECT back in 1996. 

“Our first KINNECT ‘office’ was no more than a shared desk under my best friend’s parents’ house here in Townsville so our new location is a major upgrade.  We are so happy to see the Townsville team move into a new modern space and it is a fitting way to recollect and celebrate the fantastic journey that KINNECT has been on over the past 25 years.”

A newer and more modern clinic awaits visitors to KINNECT Townsville.

KINNECT’s new location is closer to Central Townsville than our previous location, just 3 km south-west of the city centre. It features a modern clinical fit out with easy access to public transport. 

The office itself has several large assessment rooms, a designated board room for meetings and training, secure car parking and plenty of space for the many clients and workers that visit our Townsville office every year. 

Townsville Team Leader, Victoria Casey, said the extra space allows the team in Townsville to focus on what they do best – keeping people healthy, safe and productive. 

“It is really exciting to see our Townsville team grow and now this new office will certainly provide them with a great base to work out of.”

As KINNECT’s client base continues to grow, our ability to grow with them becomes more important.
